On the morning of June 3, 2026, Professor Ba Dianjun, Deputy Director of the Center for Northeast Asian Studies of Jilin University and Distinguished Kuang Yaming Scholar, was invited to deliver a special lecture at the School of International Relations and Public Administration, National University of Mongolia. Professor Bat moderated the event.

Professor Ba first reviewed the development history and academic positioning of the Center for Northeast Asian Studies and the Institute for Mongolian Studies at Jilin University, before elaborating on the university’s work on China-Mongolia youth academic and cultural exchanges. He noted that the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Mongolia keeps deepening. Young people represent the future of both countries and serve as a backbone for passing down China-Mongolia friendship.Leveraging its academic strengths, the Institute for Mongolian Studies will advance regular, institutionalized and branded youth exchanges between the two nations. It will keep innovating exchange formats, expanding cooperation areas and building more platforms for young people to communicate and grow. Rooted in rigorous academic research, the institute will also boost regional cooperation, advance inter-civilization communication through youth exchanges, and contribute to elevating the China-Mongolia comprehensive strategic partnership.
