On November 21, the 2025 New Think Tank Governance Forum convened in Nanjing. In the 2025 CTTI Evaluation, drawing on profound accumulation in country and regional studies and outstanding performance in policy consultation, the Northeast Asian Studies Center of Jilin University was awarded the CTTI 2025 Top 100 A+ University Think Tank and a Benchmark Case, alongside one Special Prize and one Second Prize for Outstanding Research Achievements. These multiple honors demonstrate the Center’s leading position and comprehensive strength in the construction of national new-type think tanks.
The CTTI University Think Tank Top 100 List is compiled based on comprehensive scores combining objective data covering think tank outputs, activities and media influence, as well as expert subjective evaluations. A total of 100 outstanding think tanks are selected from 810 university-affiliated think tanks nationwide, among which merely 40 hold the A+ rating, representing an admission rate of only 4.9%.
In the release of Best Think Tank Construction Cases, the Center’s caseSeries Academic Conferences for China-Russia Young Scholarswas named a 2025 CTTI Annual Benchmark Case for Think Tank Development. In the 2025 CTTI Outstanding Research Achievement Awards, the Center claimed two honors: a Special Prize for research outcomes led by Professor Ba Dianjun, and a Second Prize for research outcomes led by Professor Xu Bo.
Taking these awards as new momentum, the Center will further deepen interdisciplinary integration, focus on critical research issues concerning Northeast Asia, enhance the precision and forward-looking nature of policy consultation services, and deliver higher-quality intellectual support to meet national strategic demands.
