Zhang huizhi is Director of Institute of DPRK and ROK Studies at Jilin University. She was a visiting scholar at Kim Hyong-jik Normal University, DPRK, 1993-1995，and received a Ph.D.in management fromKyung HeeUniversity，ROK，2004。She has been engaged in the research on Korean peninsula issue for a long time, and has participated in international academic conferences and published conference papers in north Korea, South Korea, Japan, the United States, Russia, Canada and other countries. So far, we have undertaken and completed several national social science funds, key research bases of humanities and social sciences of the ministry of education, ministry of foreign affairs and jilin social science fund project.
